NEWTOWN, Pa. – Mackenzie Dover of the Albright women's basketball team has been named an All-MAC Commonwealth First Team selection. The honor is the third time Dover has been named an All-MAC selection in her career.
Dover has been a premier player for the Lions since arriving on campus in 2021. Dover is a three-time All-MAC honoree being named to the All-MAC second team once and being named to the All-MAC First Team in back-to-back seasons.
The 2024-25 season saw Dover further etch her name in the Alright record books becoming the 19
th player in program history to record 1000 or more points in a career. The senior guard finished her career with 1,088 points to finish 14
th all-time. The 1000
th career point came in a 64-62 win over Widener.
On November 18
th, 2024, Dover was named MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week marking the second time in Dover's career. Dover scored 27 points including two threes against Moravian to win the honor.
Dover led the team in points per game (13.3) assists per game (3.1) and minutes per game (30.2) during the 24-25 season. The per game averages placed Dover 7
th in per game scoring, 3
rd in assists per game and was 9
th in minutes per game in the Commonwealth. Dover finished the season as one of just two players to rank inside the top seven in points and assists per game.
