The Lions played in one of their final home games of the season against the Hood College Blazers.

READING, Pa. – The Albright Men's Lacrosse team (1-12, 0-3) played Hood (8-3, 1-2). The game featured back and forth momentum swings for both sides and came down to the final minute with the Blazers leaving with a 10-8 win.

The first period consisted of little offensive action and ended with a 2-0 Lions lead via goals from Jack Burke and Nick Antonio. Burke and Antonio would both finish tied for the team lead in points with three.

Also picking up three points was Ryan Houghtaling who scored the first of his team high three goals in the second period to put the Lions up 4-0.

After a quick start from the Lions, Hood would close out the half with a 4-1 run to bring them within one at halftime by a score of 5-4 in favor of the Lions.

After failing to record a goal in the third period, the Lions would strike first and second in the fourth to tie the game at 7-7 off goals from Houghtaling and James Elko. Elko would find the back of the net in the final minutes to bring Albright back to within one for his 29th goal of the season.

With the clock winding down, the Blazers would score once more in the final minute to put the game all but out of reach and eventually leave with a 10-8 win.

Despite the team's record, the Lions have proven to be competitive and have been involved in six games decided by two or fewer goals.
