ABINGTON, Pa. – Men's and women's cross country returned to the course for the first time in 14 days. Today's races were a 6K for the women's side and an 8K for the men's side. Multiple Albright runners turned in personal best times.
Maizy Aikey continues to impress for the women's team. Aikey is coming off a top 10 finish her last time out on the course and followed up that performance with an 11
th place finish this afternoon. The first-year Lion is making great strides recording a time of 28:43.66 today beating out 66 other competitors in the field.
Aniya Davis tallied the second-best time of the Albright participants this afternoon turning in a time of 36:09.07. Davis's time was good for a 37
th place finish, finishing better than half the field.
Standey Sauveur and
Tiana Douglas finished back to back with times of 42:55.78 and 43:10.48, respectively.
Rounding out the women's side was
Sophia Bailey and Danae MacFarland. Bailey finished in 57:29.49 and MacFarland finished in 57:39.22.
Evan Eisenhardt led the way for the men's side taking home a 24
th place finish out of a total field of 90 participants. Eisenhardt has been solid in his two performances this season adding to it today with a time of 32:22.66.
Jordan Patton turned in a solid effort to finish better than half the field with a time of 36:33.67. Patton's time was good for a 51
st place finish.
Ravone Edwards and
James Smith finished back-to-back with times of 48:32.45 and 49:35.32, respectively.
Also competing today for the men's team was
Beyah Rembert Jr. and
Cire Wilson. Rembert Jr. concluded the race in 50:55.37 and Wilson finished in 51:02.28.

The teams will have a couple weeks off before competition resumes on Saturday, October 4 at the Highlander Invitational hosted by Carin University.
