READING, Pa. – Men's tennis (2-1) earned their second sweep of the season with a 7-0 win over Arcadia (0-1) on their home courts with an energized crowd behind them. The Lions won five of the six singles matches in straight sets.
Against Division III opponents this year Albright has yet to drop a court beating Penn State Berks in their first match of the season.
Matias Contreras is off to a 3-0 start in his Albright career picking up another straight sets win in #1 singles. Contreras cruised to a 6-3, 6-2 win.
Karim Fattal was solid throughout his #2 singles match winning in three sets. The first set went to Fattal 6-5 and the second to Arcadia 5-7. The third and final set was played to 10 points with Fattal prevailing in the end winning 10-6.
Enrico Pucci earned his second straight sets win of the season with a 7-3, 6-3 victory in #3 singles.

Dylan Huha all had their matches shortened due to darkness. Menchaca won in #4 singles 8-1, Good 8-0 in #5 singles and Huha 8-0 in #6 singles.
Two of the three doubles matches went in favor of Albright. Contreras and
Leonardo Russo Gispert won 6-3 in #2 doubles and saw their teammates Menchaca and
Esteban Vallejo win 6-0 in #3 doubles.

Albright will play two matches this Saturday (Oct. 4) against Gettysburg and McDaniel. Albright will start the day at Gettysburg at 11:00 a.m. before making the trip to Maryland to face McDaniel at 3:30 p.m.
