READING, Pa.  – Field hockey (0-3) finally played on their home turf in 2025 hosting Stevens (3-0) on Saturday morning at Shirk Stadium. The Stevens Ducks won today's game 6-0.

The Ducks added six goals in the first half to take a commanding lead into intermission. Stevens would go on to secure the victory after their strong first half.

In the second half, the Albright defense did not allow a goal keeping the Stevens attack at bay. Anna Schuemann entered the game at the start of the third period and proceeded to make saves without allowing a goal.

Bobbie Van Oordt looked to get the Lions on the board in the late stages of the game. The first-year Lion beat nearly five Stevens defenders on her way to goal before her shot attempt sailed just wide of the cage. Van Oordt scored the Lions first goal of the season last time out against Arcadia.
