GLENSIDE, Pa. – Wrestling (8-5) went on the road on Saturday afternoon to face Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) foe Arcadia (7-7). The Knights took today's dual 28-15 over the Lions.

Earlier this year, Albright beat Arcadia 39-18 when the Knights were ranked #12 in the country. The loss suffered by the Lions today is the first against another MAC member institution this season. Albright is 4-1 within the MAC this season overall.

A week ago, Albright crowned two MAC champions in Trent Mahoney and Abdoul Akala. The duo became the first MAC champions in program history since 1965.

Albright picked up three wins in today's dual at 157, 165 and 187.

Trent Mahoney came into the dual ranked #5 in the country at 157 pounds. With today's win Mahoney is now 28-1 on the season with 17 falls.

Beknazar Baiyshbekov mde it back to back bout wins for the Lions winning handily 19-2 at 165. Baiyshbekov placed fifth at last week's MAC Championships. The first-year wrestler is 17-11 on the season.

Abdoul Akala entered the national rankings this week at 184 pounds ranked 9^th. Akala won by major decision 11-1 today. He is 23-3 this season and has not lost since November of 2025.
