Football Downed by Stevenson on the Road

The Lions took a trip down South to face the Mustangs.

READING, Pa. – Football (3-4, 2-4 MAC) hopped back on the road for a duel with Stevenson (5-2, 4-2 MAC). Following four quarters of play, the Mustangs would wind up securing a 34-7 victory over the Lions on their home turf.

Shayde Shultz was everywhere for the Lions today and led all players with 10 receptions for a game high 106 yards including a seven-yard touchdown reception.

Desai Drummond would wind up coming into the game in relief for a banged-up Chase Roberts for the second time in as many weeks and completed 13 of 18 passes for 163 yards and his first collegiate touchdown pass to Shultz.

The Lions' defense sent what felt like 11 men to the ball almost every play with Jaylan Atkinson leaving his mark courtesy of nine tackles, two of which went for a loss, along with a sack. John Arnold would also wind up recording a sack from his defensive back spot.

Daunte Morrison picked up another pair of tackles for a loss and continues a sophomore season of cementing himself as a cornerstone piece of Albright's defensive unit.

Logan Rothberg hauled in another six catches for 71 yards and continues to rank at the top of the leaderboard for receiving yards.
