READING, Pa. – Men's wrestling (12-6) dual portion of the schedule ended on Friday evening against Alvernia (17-3) in the Golden Wolves home win. Alvernia won by a final score of 26-9.
Prior to tonight's match the National Wrestling Coaches Association released their annual individual standings. The release is compiled based off how many pins, tech falls, major decisions, and decisions each wrestler has. It also punishes a wrestler for losing.
Trent Mahoney comes in as the most dominant wrestler not only in Division IIII but across all NCAA Divisions. The standout earned 5.71 points marking the most of any wrestler in the country. The full release can be found

As for tonight's bouts, the Lions got wins at 157 and 165.
#5 Mahoney put the Lions on the board with a fall in the first period. Mahoney ends the season undefeated in duals and remains undefeated on the season against Division III opponents.
Beknazar Baiyshbekov was victorious at 165 earning a 10-6 decision. Baiyshbekov led 4-2 heading into the third period. An escape and a takedown early in the third pushed Baiyshbekov lead to 8-2 and was able to close it out from there.
Albright ends the dual season at 12-6 overall. Against conference foes the Lions went 5-2.
