SALISBURY, Md. – Men's tennis (5-2) saw their four-match win streak end on Sunday afternoon at the hands of #39 Salisbury (2-1) falling 6-1.
Coming into Sunday's match Albright was riding a four-match win streak. The team beat Arcadia, Gettysburg, Susquehanna and Penn State Abington in that stretch.
Yesterday the Lions beat the Nittany Lions 7-0 to open the 2026 spring season. All six singles matches went to Albright in straight sets.
Marcelo Menchaca won in number five singles in straight sets. Menchaca won two close sets taking the first 6-4 and the second 7-5. The first-year Lion moves to a perfect 4-0 in his collegiate career.
Renato Orsi battled in number one singles, going three sets before falling to a formidable opponent. Orsi made his Albright debut yesterday, winning 6-1, 6-1.
