Men’s Tennis Cruises by DeSales 6-0

Men’s Tennis rolled by DeSales on Friday afternoon taking all six singles matches to win comfortably over the Bulldogs.

READING, Pa. – Men's tennis (6-4) got back in the win column on Friday afternoon beating the DeSales Bulldogs (1-4) 6-0 on their home courts. Albright defeated DeSales for the first time since the 2006 season.

Albright took all six singles courts winning on their home courts for the fifth time this season. Throughout the fall and spring seasons so far, the Lions own a 5-1 record in Reading.

Renato Orsi won in three sets at #1 singles battling back after dropping the third set. With the match tied at one heading into the third set, Orsi controlled the third set winning 6-1.

Karim Fattal also won in three sets after splitting the first two. Fattal, much like Orsi, found his groove in the final set winning 7-2 to take the #2 singles match.

Marcelo Menchaca was dominant in #3 singles winning 6-0, 6-0. Menchaca has been fantastic this season improving to 6-0 overall in his first-year as a collegiate player.

Leonardo Russo Gispert won handily at #4 singles winning in straight sets 6-0, 6-2. Esteban Vallejo won at #5 singles in straight sets as well taking his match 6-1, 6-2.

Gavin Buckley made it six for six for the Lions in singles matches winning 6-2, 6-2.
