Men’s Tennis Wins Sixth Straight Match Beating Immaculata 7-0

Albright is playing some of their best tennis of the season winning their sixth straight match by way of beating Immaculata 7-0.

READING, Pa. – Men's tennis (11-4) has not lost in over a month winning their sixth straight match by beating Immaculata (2-13) 7-0 on their home courts. During the six-match win streak the Lions have shutout their opponent in each one.

Albright is six for their last six overall and has shutout their opponent in each one. The last match the Lions dropped came over a month ago as well as the last time Albright dropped a single court.

The 11 wins are the most in the last 16 years surpassing the 2023-2024 team today who won 10 matches overall.

Karim Fattal played in #1 singles for the first time this spring and proceeded to win 6-2, 6-0. Fattal has won his last four matches overall. Three of which came in straight sets.

Esteban Vallejo won at #2 singles playing there for the first time as a Lion. Vallejo won 7-6, 6-0 to move to a perfect 7-0 this season across the fall and spring seasons.

Dylan Huha won his fifth straight match winning 6-0, 6-1. Huha has won each of his last five matches in straight sets.

Adam Good did not drop a single court today winning comfortably 6-0, 6-0. Gavin Buckley went the distance and earned the win in the end with a scoreline of 5-7, 6-3, 10-7.

Charles Coleman made it a perfect six for six for Albright in singles play, winning his match 6-0, 6-3.

Renato Orsi and Enrico Pucci did what they do best in #1 doubles and that is winning. The duo moved to 5-0 as a pair with a 6-2 victory today.

Marcelo Menchaca and Vallejo won at #2 doubles 6-0. The win moves the duo to 6-1 this season. Dominic Perch and Huha closed out doubles play with a 6-2 win at #3 doubles.
 
Up Next:
Albright will host Eastern on Saturday, April 18. The match is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. with the Lions looking to clinch a spot in the playoffs.
