READING, Pa. – Men's Lacrosse (3-9, 0-3 MAC Commonwealth) hosted Messiah (5-5, 1-1 MAC Commonwealth) for their second home conference game of the season. The visiting Falcons would leave with a 26-4 victory.
Justin Moroney started the scoring for the Lions with the first of his three goals with just under nine minutes to play in the opening quarter. Moroney finished with four points on the day and stands one goal away from surpassing 40 on the season.
Nick Antonio would also get in the scoring with his 33
rd goal of the season coming on a man up opportunity.
As a team the Lions forced eight turnovers including a pair from
Nate Howe who also picked up a pair of ground balls on the day. Joining Howe with ultiple ground balls were Moroney, Antonio,
Brady Etzkorn and
Kraig Sullivan.
Semaj Moyd dished out a pair of assists and helped create a number of additional quality scoring chances for the Lions throughout the game.
