ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Field Hockey (1-5) concluded a five-game road trip against the Devils of FDU-Florham (4-2). Through four quarters of play, the Devils would wind up besting the Lions 3-0 on their home field.
Leading the Offensive charge for the Lions was
Aniek Oostendorp who accounted for a pair of shots which were both put on goal in addition to creating a number of other scoring chances for her and her teammates.
Also putting a shot on goal was
Lillian Tuffy who contributed a two-way performance keeping the Lions in the game until the final whistle.
McKena Cox and
Jessica Butz added additional shots as the Lions maintained no lack of offensive presence against a talented FDU-Defensive front.
Ultimately, the Lions would not be able to breakthrough as an all-around performance form the Devils allowed them to hang on at home for their fourth win of the season.
