READING, Pa. — The women's tennis team took to the Albright College Tennis Courts for fall season action against Muhlenberg. The Lions took a 7-0 win to bring them to a two match win streak.
Nadia Margaritov had an impressive showing on the day at No. 1 doubles and singles. In singles play, she found an easy win against Sydney Madlock, 6-0, 6-0. In doubles play, Margaritov paired with
Allison Horick to take on Sydney Madlock and Sophia Xenakis. Margaritov and Horick were able to take a 6-1 win.
In No. 2 singles play,
Elicia Aponte battled it out against Charley Madlock, going to a tiebreaker set. Charley Madlock took the first set, winning 7-6, but Aponte battled back taking the second set 6-1 and the tiebreaker, 10-6.
Addison Allen also saw a tiebreaker battle at No. 5 singles play, defeating Ella Pomeranz. Pomeranz took set one, 6-2. Allen cleaned up in sets two and three, winning 7-5 and 10-2, respectively.
