READING, Pa. – Women's Soccer (5-4-1) hosted a whiteout game against the Keystone Giants (0-2) following a three-game road trip. The Lions wasted no time seizing momentum and would wind up with a 10-1 victory over the Giants.
In addition to the victory itself, the last time the Lions scored 10 goals in a game was 10 years and 10 days ago to the day.
Ava Ramlochan started the scoring early for the Lions with her first career goal coming midway through the third minute of play. Ramlochan was one of five Lions to finish the day with four or more shots.
Also picking goals in the first half were
Riley Wilner,
Ava Marks,
Alivia Neider and
Kylei Grant. Grant's goal came off a corner kick just before time expired allowing the Lions to enter the locker room with a 7-1 lead.
The second half was much of the same for the Lions in terms of maintaining control and would go on to outshoot the Giants 33-3.
Sage Cole accounted for the second half's first score in addition to finishing with a pair of assists.
Haley Denuto finished a career day with three goals on just for shots for her first career hat trick in addition to an assist and was a dominant force for the Lions' attack the entire night.
