READING, Pa. – Women's Soccer (1-1) traveled to face Penn State Berks (1-1) on Thursday evening. While the game was played at Berks, Albright served as the home team. Through 90 minutes of play, Berks would wind up with a 2-0 victory over the Lions.
While Berks netted their first goal in the opening seconds of the game's 30
th minute, there was no shortage of offensive effort from the Lions following their 6-0 victory earlier this week.
Brylie Jensen followed up her two-goal performance in the season opener with a pair of shots while looking to setup her teammates for additional chances.
Also looking to spark the offense were
Kylei Grant and
Daiveni Fisher who helped generate shots off the bench for the Lions.
Olivia Reinhart started in goal and picked up five saves for the second time in as many games this season and carried a GA/AVG of 1.00 on the season.
