READING, Pa. – Men's Soccer (0-1-1) remained at Shirk Stadium to host the Aggies of Delaware Valley (1-0-1). Back and forth momentum and physical play were present from both sides in what turned out to be a 1-0 win for the Aggies.
The Lions found themselves short of no offensive chances and generated 14 shots with
Ethan Roe registering a team high of three off the bench.
Also putting up multiple shots were
Gael Velazquez,
Will Garnett and
Jose Serrano s part of a Lions effort that was in reach until the final whistle.
After a scoreless first half, the lone goal for the Aggies would come in the 70
th minute with neither side able to find the back of the net the remainder of the contest.
Mike Lawry made six strong saves in net along with a number of clutch grabs to keep his teammates within reach and maintains a goals against average of 1.00 through a pair of games.
