Jeff Feiler stepped down as head coach of the Albright baseball program after the 2022 season. After 24 seasons as manager of the Albright baseball program, coach Feiler moved into an administrative role as well as becoming the lead equipment manger of Albright athletics.Â
In 2020, the Lions began the season 4-3 before being shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Feiler led the Lions to 10 victories in 2019 and saw junior outfielder Logan Pennypacker earn All-MAC Commonwealth Honorable Mention honors for the first time in his career.Â
In 2018, Feiler led the Lions to 11 victories and saw three of his players earn Second Team All-MAC Commonwealth Honors. Jeff Yordy earned the honors at outfield, Logan Adams at designated hitter, and Noah Beebe tallied the honors at utility.Â
In 2017, Feiler coached the Lions to 12 victories, more than doubling the team's total from 2016. Among those wins was a victory over No. 11 Alvernia in April. Outfielder Jeff Yordy earned All-MAC Commonwealth Second Team honors while reliever Trevor Mastria was named Honorable Mention.
Also in 2017, one of Feiler's former players, Casey Lawrence, made his Major League debut to become the first Albright baseball player to play in the big leagues since 1931. Lawrence debuted with the Blue Jays in April. The Mariners picked him up in May, and Lawrence set a club record for most strikeouts in a relief appearance, fanning nine batters in five innings.
Albright went 13-16-1 in 2014, with the Lions being eliminated from Commonwealth Conference Tournament contention on the final day of the season. The Red and White had five All-Commonwealth selections, while senior Nate Peiffer added first team Academic All-District honors.
Feiler recorded his 200th career victory with an extra-inning walkoff victory over Geneva on spring break in March, and passed John Potsklan to become the program's all-time winningest coach with his 210th victory.
Feiler moved to within one victory of the 200-win milestone in 2013, as the Lions had four All-Commonwealth Conference selections that year.
In 2010, Feiler achieved a career first when former right-handed pitcher Casey Lawrence '10 became the first player in his tenure to sign with a Major League Baseball affiliate. Lawrence has since been named a Single-A All-Star with the Dunedin Blue Jays and made a start in Triple-A.Â

The 2009 season was another successful year for Feiler and his squad as they qualified for the Commonwealth Conference Tournament for the second consecutive year. The Red and White closed out the year with an 18-18-1 record and finished in fourth place in the conference standings.
In 2008, Feiler guided his team to an overall record of 16-18 and a place in the Commonwealth Tournament. For his outstanding efforts throughout the season, Feiler was named Commonwealth Conference Coach of the Year for the second time in his career.
One of Feiler's greatest moments came in the fall of 2004, when he was inducted into Conestoga Valley Athletic Hall of Fame.Â
In 2003, Feiler led the Lions to a share of the Commonwealth Conference regular season championship and their first post-season berth in five years. He was named conference Co-Coach of the Year after the season.Â
Feiler took over as head coach in 1999 after serving as the assistant coach for one season.
Prior to coming to Albright, Feiler spent one year as an assistant coach at his high school alma mater, Conestoga Valley in Lancaster, Pa., and one year as the pitching coach at Mount Tabor High School in Winston-Salem, N.C.Â
A 1992 graduate of Wake Forest University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Sport Science, Feiler was a three-time letter winner as a pitcher. In his senior year, Feiler was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Academic Honor Roll.
In addition to his duties as head coach, Feiler serves as Assistant Athletic Director and Equipment Manager at Albright. He lives in West Lawn with his wife Teresa and children Ashley and Adam.Â
