Kyle Wenrich joined the Albright baseball staff in 2009. He works primarily with the defense and base running.
Kyle is a 2008 graduate of Albright, where he was a four-year starter at shortstop for the Lions. He currently teaches 2nd grade at 13th and Green elementary school in the Reading School District.
Albright went 13-16-1 in 2014, with the Lions being eliminated from Commonwealth playoff contention on the final day of the season. The Red and White had five All-Commonwealth selections, while senior Nate Peiffer added first team Academic All-District honors.
The 2009 season was another successful year for the Lions as they qualified for the Commonwealth Conference tournament for the second consecutive year. The Red and White closed out the year with an 18-18-1 record and finished in fourth place in the conference standings.
