Biography

A graduate of Hazleton Area HS, John was a three-year letter winner in baseball and golf, and was baseball captain his senior year... Son of Tom and Patty Medvecky, he is an accounting major.

2014: Honorable Mention All-Commonwealth... Finished the season hitting .311/.354/.356 with 28 hits, 14 RBIs, 11 runs scored, 4 doubles, 7 walks, and 2 stolen bases… Went 4-for-5 with 2 runs, and 2 RBIs at Arcadia (4/6)… Was 3-for-4 with 2 doubles, a walk, and 2 runs scored versus Stevenson (4/25).

2013: Hit .262/.319/.311 on the season with 16 hits, 5 runs scored, 12 RBIs, and 3 doubles…Went 2-for-3 with an RBI versus Scranton (3/2)… Had a 3 RBI double at Elizabethtown (3/29)… Went 3-for-4 with a double, 2 RBIs, and a run scored against Valley Forge Community College (4/18).
