After a successful 2024 season, Collins has been promoted to offensive coordinator in December of 2024.
Collins oversaw one of the best passing offenses for Albright in recent memory in the 2024 season. Collins led quarterback Chase Roberts to multiple 300-yard passing games and multiple multi touchdown games last season, feats that has not been achieved at Albright in three seasons.
Danny Collins joined Albright College in 2024 as the quarterbacks coach.
Collins served as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach at Cedar Creek High School in Egg Harbor City, NJ in 2023 where he showcased an 8 - 4 season his first year. His influence extends beyond the high school level, having trained top College and High School talents as a Quarterback Trainer in the Greater Philadelphia area for the last 5 years (2019-present).
Danny secured a 2-year contract with the Ottawa Redblacks in the Canadian Football League in 2017 demonstrating his playing ability on an International stage. His brief stint with the Frankfurt Universe in the Euro League, in May of 2017, further enriched his global football perspective as a player.
Collins’ hard work and dedication earned him an invitation to participate in the Buffalo Bills Rookie Mini-camp in 2017. Drawing from a successful playing career as a 3-year starter and Team Captain at Quarterback for the University of Maine Black Bears, where he earned the title of 3rd team all CAA and Most Valuable Player in his senior season (2016)
Armed with a Bachelor of Sciences in Kinesiology/Teaching and Coaching from Maine in (2017), Danny brings a strong educational foundation to his coaching endeavors. His roots in Williamstown, NJ, run deep, having been a three-sport athlete in Football, Basketball, and Volleyball at Williamstown High School.
Danny currently resides in his hometown with his wife Cailin, and continues to make impactful contributions to the football community.
