Keith Bruno enters his fourth season overall on the the Albright football coaching staff in 2020, and will continue to serve as special teams coordinator.

Bruno returned to Reading in 2019 for his second stint of coaching after spending two years as the defensive coordinator at St. Lawrence. Last season as special teams coordinator, the Lions blocked 4 PAT/FGs. Freshman Chris Holbrook also earned second team All-MAC honors as a returner behind running two kick returns back for a touchdown in one game against Wilkes. 

As a defensive coordinator at St. Lawrence in 2018, the Saints led the Liberty League in sacks and tackles for a loss. Bruno also developed a first team all-league linebacker Liam Murray, and one all-league/all-region Defensive Lineman Tyler Mirabile, along with a honorable mention defensive back in Tyler Burns.

Bruno was part of a coaching staff that helped lead Albright to a MAC-Centennial Bowl Championship title in 2016 as the Lions posted an 8-3 overall record.

As the Special Teams Coordinator in 2016, Bruno also coached three All-Conference players, including two First Team selections. Kicker Kevin Goetz and Returner Kyle Dickerson earned First Team honors, while Linebacker and Specialist Grant Boehler was selected to the Second Team. The Special Teams excelled on the field and led the conference in numerous categories such as field goals, touchdowns, converted fakes and total kickoff coverage.

Bruno was part of a coaching staff that helped lead Albright to a Middle Atlantic Conference title in 2015. The Lions posted a 10-2 overall record and advanced to the second round of the NCAA playoffs. He helped coach a Lions secondary that was Ranked #1 nationally for defensive TDs scored and ranked #7 in the nation in interceptions.
 

Bruno was on the Lions football team, under current head coach John Marzka, from 2008-12. In 2010, Bruno ranked fourth on the team with 43 tackles from his free safety position. He also had two interceptions and forced a fumble. As a senior in 2011, he ranked sixth on the squad with 39 tackles and also intercepted a pass and had 1.5 tackles for loss.

Bruno was a member of the 2009 Albright football team that posted a school record 11 wins and advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III playoffs.

Following his playing career at Albright, Bruno moved into the high school coaching ranks at his alma mater Brick Township Memorial in New Jersey where he coached the linebackers during the 2012 season.

Bruno then moved on to McDaniel where he served as an assistant coach working with the defensive backs in 2013 and 2014. At McDaniel he maintained oversight of the defensive backfield which included drills, meetings and game planning.

Bruno earned his bachelor's degree in sociology from Albright in 2012, and graduated from Brick Memorial High School in 2008.
