Albright College Athletics

Luis Figueroa Jr. is entering his first season on the Albright football coaching staff. Figueroa Jr. spent time playing professionally in the AIFL and IFL leagues for six seasons across the two leagues. In addition Figueroa Jr brings with him 15 years of coaching experience coaching high school football in Pennsylvania and Louisiana. 

Before coming to Albright Figueroa Jr has spent time coaching at Livingston Collegiate Academy (offensive coordinator/QB&WR Coach), Saint Augustine High School (college recruiting/OL coach), George Washington Carver High School (special teams/QB&LB coach), Fleetwood Area High School (co-offensive coordinator/Rb&LB coach), Boyertown Area High school (special teams/OLB&WR coach), and Reading High School (special teams/QB&LB coach). 

Last season (2022), Figueroa Jr helped lead Livingston Collegiate Academy to their most wins (11), most points scored (414), and most points in a single game (53) in the schools history.

Figueroa Jr graduated from Lackawanna College with an Associates degree in Business Studies. Additionally, Figueroa Jr graduated from Capella University with a degree in Business specializing in Management & Leadership and later earned a Masters degree from the same institution in Business Administration (Project Management).
