Mark DeLucia begins his first season on the Albright football coaching staff in 2021.
DeLucia came to Albright after spending 14 years on the Delaware Valley coaching staff.

DeLucia moved up the ranks on the defensive coaching staff at Delaware Valley as he held various positions. Following his graduation in 2006, DeLucia became a coaching intern after graduation and served as the defensive line coach. DeLucia held the defensive line coach position during his entire time on the staff, and was promoted to co-defensive coordinator in 2016. After his promotion, he saw 33 players named to the all-MAC team, two conference defensive players of the year, one all-east region defensive player of the year, five all-americans, and six all-region players. The Aggies also won the MAC conference title in three of his four seasons as co-defensive coordinator

In his first season as a co-coordinator, DeLucia's defense permitted just 14.5 points and 268.3 yards per game. Eight players on the defensive side of the ball, including two linemen, earned all-conference honors. The following season, DeLucia led a defense that dominated opponents by allowing just 10.5 points and 262.8 yards per game while forcing a total of 33 turnovers. Nine players from the 2017 defense were named to the all-conference team, and one was named to a pair of All-American teams.

In 2018, his unit allowed just 13.8 points and 152 yards per game to opposing offenses. They surrendered just two yards per rushing attempt and a total of 72 rush yards per showing. DeLucia also helped mentor Defensive end Michael Nobile to earn conference Defensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year, along with being one of seven defensive players to be named to the all-conference team. The 2019 Aggie defense finished the season ranked seventh in scoring defense (12.8 ppg) and second in total defense (215.2 ypg), and ranked inside the top-10 in four other categories. The squad picked of 24 passes, the second most in the nation, recovered seven fumbles, and got to opposing quarterbacks for 45 sacks.

DeLucia also spent time as the co-special teams coordinator with the Aggies, and was the team's video coordinator for 11 years. He was a member of the Delaware Valley roster for the first two years of his undergraduate studies before spending the 2004 and 2005 campaigns as a student assistant with the Aggies.
