Matt Moran is in his second season as an assistant coach. He serves as running backs coach and video coordinator.
Albright went 8-3 in 2013, winning the ECAC Southwest Bowl. Senior running back Ty Hughes earned honorable mention All-MAC honors in Moran's first season on staff,
Moran was a volunteer offensive assistant in 2011 with the University of San Diego, a Division I FCS school that won the Pioneer League championship that season.
Moran was also the offensive coordinator, quarterbacks coach and strength & conditioning coach for the San Diego Jewish Academy varsity high school team. He was a volunteer offensive assistant at Bowdoin College in Maine.
A 2010 graduate of Bowdoin, Moran was a four-year letterman and three-year starter, appearing on both sides of the ball. Primarily a wide receiver, he also saw time at safety, kick returner, and at quarterback. He earned NESCAC All-Academic honors in 2009.
A philosophy major with a minor in music, Moran grew up in Rhode Island and attended Bishop Hendricken High School. He was a 2006 Providence Journal All-State selection and a team captain.
