Tyler Sterner

Tyler Sterner will begin his third season on the Albright coaching staff in 2021. Sterner continues to work with the wide receivers.

In his first season on the staff in 2019, Sterner saw wide receiver Kevin Zehner earn All-MAC second team honors and set career-highs in every statistical category.

Sterner came to Albright after spending the 2018 season as the offensive quality control coach at Towson University. At Towson, Sterner was responsible for play-call signaling during all team sessions as well as during games, running the scout team defense during 7-on-7 periods, and was in charge of the scout punt return team. He also assisted the quarterbacks in the fall, and wide receivers in the spring through all periods.

Prior to Towson, Sterner served as an assistant quarterbacks coach for spring practices during his final semester at Lebanon Valley. Sterner played all four years at LVC as a quarterback, and eventually took over the starting job midway through his junior season of 2016. He started all 10 games for the Dutchmen in his senior 2017 season, and served as a team captain.

Sterner earned a bachelor's degree from Lebanon Valley in May 2018 in business administration. He graduated from South Western high school in 2014.
