Dancy is back on the Albright sideline as the 2022-23 season marks the third year as an assistant coach under head coach Rick Ferry.
DeLascio Dancy enters his second season as a member of the Albright College Men's Basketball Coaching staff in 2021-22. During the 2021-22 season Dancy helped the Lions to their sixth straight MAC Commonwealth Tournament appearance. Dancy was also instrumental in helping Guard Sindey Brown achieve All-MAC Commonwealth second team honors.
In his first season of 2021, the Lions navigated through a 10-game shortened season due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, and won the 2021 MAC Commonwealth Championship. Dancy helped coach three players in Sam Majekodunmi, Corey Simmons, and Jordan Guerrero to earn All-MAC Commonwealth Honors, and one (Simmons) to earn D3hoops.com All-Mid-Atlantic Region honors.
A 2020 graduate of Albright, Dancy earned a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing.
A four-year starter on the team, Dancy appeared in 85 career games for the Albright men's basketball team and started in 65 of them. He finished his Lions career with 442 points, 317 rebounds, 237 assists, and 97 steals. Dancy was a member of the 2017-18 Albright men's basketball team that qualified for the NCAA Tournament, and helped lead the Lions to a pair of MAC Commonwealth championship game appearances. Albright qualified for the MAC Commonwealth Tournament in all four years of Dancy's playing career.
In his final collegiate season of 2019-20, Dancy served as the team captain.
