Yawo Baah enters his sixth season as assistant coach of the Albright women’s soccer program and third season assisting the men’s soccer program.
Both the men's and women's soccer regular seasons were canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19.
In 2019, Baah helped coached the women's soccer team to a 13-8-1 overall record and the programs first ever MAC Commonwealth playoff win. The team also made their fourth-straight ECAC Tournament appearance. Baah also assisted Stanco in coaching two All-Conference players in the 2019 season.
Baah began his first year as an assistant coach for the Albright men's soccer program in 2019. He assisted Stanco in his second stint as the men's soccer head coach towards the most wins the team has had since 2014.
In 2018, Baah helped in guiding the women’s soccer team to a program record 14 wins while also advancing to the ECAC Tournament championship game for the first time in program history. The team finished third in the MAC Commonwealth, qualifying for the conference tournament for a fifth straight year. Additionally, Baah assisted Stanco in coaching four All-Conference players in the 2018 season.
Previously in 2017, the Lions completed their season with a 12-9-1 record overall, qualifying for the MAC Commonwealth Tournament and advancing to the ECAC Tournament Semifinals. In Baah’s first season at Albright, he assisted the Lions in returning to the MAC Commonwealth and ECAC Tournaments.
A 2015 graduate of York College, Baah was a part of the men’s soccer team who won the Colonial Athletic Conference Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament all four years he attended.
