Kasey Lederle is in her first season as assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Albright College.
Lederle came to Reading after a standout four-year career at Utica College in Utica, New York. A Third Team USA College Lacrosse All-Star and a Second Team Empire 8 All-Conference honoree, Lederle just completed her best season ever for the Pioneers.
In her senior campaign, Lederle headed the defensive unit and finished third on the team with 17 caused turnovers and fifth with 19 groundballs. Against nationally-ranked Ithaca College, Lederle recorded a season-high five caused turnovers, while snagging four groundballs.
She went on to end her career at Utica having played in a combined 57 games, and earned 51 groundballs and 38 caused turnovers. A two-time team captain, Lederle was also the women’s lacrosse representative on the Utica Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and also served as a student athletic trainer.
In May she earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Studies, and graduated with a 3.0 grade point average.
