Former Albright standout Nicole Klusewitz enters her second season as an assistant coach on the Lions coaching staff in 2018.

In Klusewitz's first season as a coach in 2017, the Lions finished with a 10-7 record while posting a 6-2 record in MAC Commonwealth play. Albright qualified for the MAC Commonwealth tournament for the third straight season, losing to Stevenson in the semifinals. She helped freshman Devon Mela to MAC Commonwealth Rookie of the Year honors to highlight six selections to the All-MAC Commonwealth teams. 

Klusewitz finished her playing career at Albright in 2016 and helped lead the Lions to the best season in school history. Albright finished with an 11-7 overall record and a 5-3 mark in MAC Commonwealth play. The Lions' 11 victories were a school record and Albright hosted a MAC Commonwealth Tournament game for the first time in school history.

Klusewitz was a two-time all-conference selection on defense. She earned Second Team All-MAC Commonwealth honors in 2014 and was an honorable mention choice last season.

Klusewitz earned her degree from Albright in Communications, Public Relations and Advertising.

A native of Mohnton, Pa., Klusewitz graduated from Governor Mifflin High School.
