Wendell Hannaford enters his third season as assistant women's soccer coach at Albright College. 

A former member of the Lions Men’s Soccer program, Hannaford still holds the record for most career shutouts with nine and career goals against average. During his time at Albright, Hannaford was also named Commonwealth Conference Goalkeeper of the Week on two occasions, and was named Second Team All-Conference in 2007.

During his ’07 season, Hannaford played an integral part in leading the Lions to their first playoff appearance in over 25 seasons. Hannaford graduated from Albright in the summer of 2009 and received his Bachelors of Art in Political Science and Sociology.

Prior to his standout collegiate career, Hannaford played at Walt Whitman High School in New York. He was also a member of the Cold Spring Harbor Soccer Club for five years as well. During that time, Hannaford and his club earned three Long Island Junior Soccer League Division Championships, reached the Walbaum’s Cup semi-finals twice, and the State Cup quarterfinals once.

He has also coached at a variety of soccer camps throughout his soccer career.
