Albright Athletics Hall of Fame
Eric Daney '06 was a member of the Albright men's swimming team. In his four years on the team, Daney won a combined 13 individual and relay gold medals at the MAC Swimming Championships, and helped lead the Lions to three MAC team championships from 2003 to 2005. He won a pair of gold medals at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Swimming Championships in 2004, and currently ranks in the Albright men's swimming program top 10 for six different events. Daney also once held a pair of MAC records in the 200 backstroke and the 400 IM, and 10 different Albright program records as well. Daney served as a team captain for the Lions and earned the John R. Spannuth award (Most Outstanding Men's Swimmer at Albright) twice.
Following his graduation from Albright, Daney earned his Master of Science in Educational Leadership at Wilkes University. Daney currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Pottsgrove High School in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
