READING, Pa. - Despite falling into to a deep 5-0 hole, the Lady Lions did not go quietly in the end scoring a pair of goals against York College Thursday afternoon at Shirk Stadium.

Both of Albright's goals came in the final 20 minutes of the contest. #Kelly Zepp#, who netted her first goal of the season, ended the Lions scoring draught in the 51st minute. Assisting on the goal was classmate #Emily Hutchinson#. With the momentum starting to shift, Albright's offense came alive and began pressuring the Spartans defense.

Unfortunately, the Spartans managed to hold on until the final seconds of the contest, when #Caitlin Feldman# made it 5-2 with just 29 seconds left. Picking up the assist on the goal was non-other than scoring machine #Gia Boscola#.

Feldman and Boscola continue to lead the red and white's offense this season. To date the dynamic duo has combined for 12 of Albright's 16 goals and nine of the team's 11 assists respectively.

For the visitors their scoring got off to an early start in the first half. In just a six minute window, the Spartans took a commanding 3-0 lead. After settling down defensively, the red and white held York scoreless for the remainder of the first half. However, the start of the second half did not prove much better for Albright as York tacked on two more goals in the first two minutes to take a very comfortable 5-0 lead.

Albright did lead the contests in shots with 12, but trailed in penalty corners as York recorded six more than the red and white (11-5).

Field Hockey returns to Shirk Stadium this Sunday when they host Wells College at 1 p.m.
