Box Score
ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - Now just three goals away from tying the single season scoring record, junior forward #
Gia Boscola# netted her 12th goal of the season against Elizabethtown College (11-5/5-1 Commonwealth). Unfortunately, Boscola's goal would be the only one in favor of the Lions (6-12/2-4 Commonwealth) as the Blue Jays picked up a 5-1 conference victory Saturday afternoon at Wolf Field.
The lone goal for the red and white was netted on a penalty corner in the 35th minute of the match. However, at that point the Blue Jays had already netted two goals to take a 2-0 lead. Following the halftime break, Elizabethtown scored three more goals to secure the win.
Finding the back of the Lions cage three times on Saturday was Katy Boone. Brenna Noon and Liz DeMatteis also scored goals for the Blue Jays as they continue to hold the number two spot in the conference standings.
Despite the score Saturday's match was very close as Elizabethtown held just a three shot advantage over the red and white, 9-6. The Blue Jays also held a small lead over the Lions in the penalty corners column, 7-4.
Sophomore assist leader #
Caitlin Feldman# led the Lions offense with two shots on goal. Boscola and #
