ST. THOMAS, Virgin Islands – In a very unique trip to the warm Virgin Islands the Women's Basketball team picked up a huge win over Tuesday evening over Immaculata University. The Lady Lions who had previously lost six straight rebounded with a 67-53 win over the Mighty Macs.
For the Lady Lions, junior guard
Rory Yerkes led the team with 15 points, while
Mallory Olsheski closed out the contest with a team best nine rebounds.
Jessica McGinness finished second on the team in scoring with 12 points.
MariLynn McMonagle and
Gina Zantopoulos each totaled seven points in the non-conference win.
Women's Basketball returns to action tomorrow evening at 6:30 p.m. when they take on the University of the Virgin Islands.
