LA PLUME, Pa. - It was another close match Thursday afternoon as the Lady Lions (2-3) battled the Giants of Keystone College (2-1) at Ned Boehm Field. Coming off a thrilling overtime victory on Tuesday, the Albright looked to keep their momentum alive. Unfortunately, the Giants managed to squeeze by the red and white on back-to-back goals to secure the 2-1 win.

Netting the red and white's lone goal of the match was junior forward #Gia Boscola#. The hero in both overtime victories this season, Boscola continues to lead the team with three goals and two assists. The junior netted her third goal of the season in 44th minute on an unassisted play.

Following Boscola's goal, Albright managed to hold onto their 1-0 lead until the 53rd minute when Keystone's Nicole Macedonia evened the score at 1-1. The Giants then took the lead five minutes later on a Brackney Brotzman score.

On the day, the Lady Lions totaled four shots against the Giants, all of which were in the second half. Keystone's offense tallied 10 shots in the victory, five in each half. In the cage #Kaitlyn Johnstone# totaled two saves, with the Giants' Melinda Moore recorded just one save in 70 minutes of work.

Field Hockey returns to action this Saturday when they travel to Goucher College for a 3 p.m. non-conference game.
