CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Led by freshman forward #Ashleigh Bradley# Albright field hockey (7-5) defeated the Bulldogs of DeSales University (5-8) by the final score of 1-0. For goalie #Marguerite DeLucas# the shutout win set a new single season record at Albright, as it marked her fifth of the year, breaking the original record of four set in 2000.

Bradley's game-winner was scored at 15:25 of the first half when she redirected a pass from #Courtney White#. The goal was Bradley's third of the year, and first game-winner, while the assist marked White's first of her sophomore campaign.

For DeLucas her record setting afternoon consisted of eight saves, while her defense limited the Bulldogs to just 15 shots. Eight of those 15 shots were on goal, but were stopped dead by DeLucas.

Albright's offense combined 10 shots in the match, with five of those finding their way between the pipes. DeSales goalie Victoria DelToro came up with four saves in the match.

DeSales also led the match in penalty corners with 14, while Albright was able to record eight.

Field Hockey returns to action on Thursday when they travel to Cedar Crest College for a 4 p.m. non-conference match.
