Women's Golf Competes in First Invitational

Tournament Results

READING, Pa. – In their first-ever tournament as a collegiate program the Albright women's golf team competed at the Alvernia University, Monday afternoon at the Reading Country Club. Representing the first women's golf team was #Dana Wilcomes#, Kaitlin Mack, Domonique Wilcher, and #Kelsey Trainor#.

Despite not recording a final team score in the four team tournament, Mack placed third overall with a final day score of 88. Taking the team championship was Gettysburg College, followed by Alvernia University in second place. FDU-Florham also competed in Monday's invitational, but had only two players in their first ever tournament as well.

The individual championship was won by Gettysburg's Caroline Nathan, who finished the day with a score of 80.

After Mack's third place finish, Wilcher placed eighth with a final score of 100. Finishing in 12th place was Wilcomes with a score of 119. Trainor did not finish Monday's invitational.

Women's Golf returns to action on October 2 when they host their first ever invitational at the Berkshire Country Club.
