Results
The Albright College men's swimming team stayed close in its season opener against Division II Bloomsburg University on Saturday, ultimately losing 109-96.
The Lions dominated the freestyle events, led by sophomores
Mike McBride and
Ralph Porrazzo.
Porrazzo and McBride took 1-2 in the 50 freestyle, and switched places as they gave Albright the top two spots in the 100 free. They also teamed with
Rick Sutton and
Adam Kurtz to take the 200 free relay, in 1:30.90.
Sutton won a pair of events, taking the 500 free (5:03.74) and 1000 free (10:34.74).
The Lions (0-1) will host MAC rival Lebanon Valley on October 25.
