Results
The Albright College men's swimming team recorded the best time in all 12 events as the Lions defeated visiting Lebanon Valley 118-59, Tuesday in the Albright Natatorium.
Sophomore
Ralph Porrazzo won the 50 free (22.29) and 100 back (56.51) while also teaming with
Josh Park,
Adam Kurtz and
Mike McBride to take the meet's opening 200 medley relay.
Park, a freshman, also won the 200 IM (2:13.16) and had the fastest time in the 100 breast (1:06.02).
After winning the opening relay, Albright swept the top three places in the next two events to jump out to a huge lead.
Dan Cahill,
Chris Longworth and
Connor Unger went 1-2-3 in the 1000 free and Ricky Sutton, McBride and
Rainer Floeter matched that in the 200 free.
Sutton had the top time in the 500 free, while junior
Bobby McNair won the 100 free in 1:02.25.
Freshman
Drew Leahy won the 100 free (52.96) and senior
Zach McElheny touched the wall first in a 200 fly exhibition.
The Lions are 1-1 and will host Widener on November 5- one of the top challengers to Albright's Commonwealth Conference crown.
