Box Score
The Albright College field hockey team totaled just five shots in the game as the Lions were beaten 1-0 by Immaculata, Tuesday at Shirk Stadium.
Immaculata scored the game's only goal just six minutes in, as a nice touch from
Ashley O'Donnell allowed
Mary Beth Plastek to flip the ball past charging Albright goalie
Marguerite DeLucas.
Albright's best chance to tie came in the final minutes as senior
Beth Moran dumped the ball into the area and classmate
Rose Casesi took it off a defender's stick in front of goal. Unfortunately for the Lions, her shot was kicked away.
The LIons only managed one shot in the first half, a hit by
Kaitlyn Pietrusewicz that went wide.
O'Donnell could have added a goal in the first half after dribbling around DeLucas but she couldn't finish off the play.
Albright is 2-9 and hosts Cedar Crest on Thursday.
