In an unbelievably tight meet, the Albright College men's swimming team rallied from twelve points down and won the final relay to defeat visiting Ursinus College, 106-99 on Wednesday.
Ursinus led 95-93 heading into the final event, the 200 free relay, ensuring that the first place group would clinch victory for their team.

Tim Pierce and
Adam Kurtz rose to the occasion, with each of the four turning in a faster split than their Ursinus counterpart. The Lions' time of 1:29.46 beat the Bears' 1:31.07 and gave the hosts victory by the smallest of margins.
Ursinus led 62-50 after the 100 fly, the evening's sixth event. Despite losing three straight races however, Albright kept itself close by grabbing the second and third spots in each.
Pierce and McBride went 2-3 in the 50 free, and
Stephen Thomas,
Josh Park and
Sam Rosenthal took 2-3-4 in the 200 IM.
Adam Kurtz and
Drew Leahy then went 2-3 in the 100 fly to continue to limit the damage.
McBride soon won the 100 free (in 50.08) to pull Albright within three, and Porrazzo's victory in the 55.75 put the Lions ahead 76-74.
Ursinus inched back ahead with first and third in the 500 free.
Rick Sutton was second and junior
Matt Bauer, a late addition to the race, salvaged a fourth place.
Park won the day's penultimate event, the 100 breast, but the Bears swept the next three spots to ensure that the meet would come down to the winner of the final relay.
Down 23-13 after the 1000 free, Porrazzo won the 200 free in 1:49.57 before the Bears went on their run of three straight firsts.
The Lions improve to 3-1 on the season and will travel to Arcadia on Saturday.
