GRANTHAM, Pa. – On Saturday, men's tennis (0-5/0-3 Commonwealth) was handed another 9-0 conference decision, this time from the Falcons of Messiah College (4-7/2-0 Commonwealth).

Messiah swept dominated the match from start to finish, except at second doubles. The duo of Joe Monzo and Brandon Weigand battled back-and-forth with David Wichert and Freddie Behnke. The Messiah pair would go on to earn the 8-6 decision and the second point of the afternoon.

Recorded the only points in singles play was Kenneth Ip at the first flight. He dropped the opening match 6-2, and the second match 6-0. Messiah earned 6-0, 6-0 victories in the five other singles matches.

Men's tennis returns to action on Tuesday when they host Lebanon Valley College at 3:30 p.m.
