King's College Defeats Men's Tennis, 8-1

READING, Pa. – Against non-conference opponent King's College (6-9), men's tennis (0-7) was handed an 8-1 non-conference loss Monday afternoon on the Albright Tennis Courts. Earning the lone victory and the first of his collegiate career was Ian Moore at second singles.

The freshman recorded a 6-3, 6-3 win over the Monarchs' Rob Corridoni to break-up the shutout. To start the afternoon, King's recorded three straight victories in doubles play. Mike Callahan and Moore had the toughest doubles match as they went back and forth with Paul Herr and Andrew Panzitta. The Monarch duo recorded the 8-4 win.

Adam Stamm also played a strong match at fourth singles dropping a 6-3, 6-1 decision to P.T. Romano. Joe Monzo and Dan Rosello each recorded a point in their respective matches.

Men's Tennis returns to action on Thursday when they travel to Arcadia University for a 2:30 p.m. conference match.
