READING, Pa. – Men's tennis (0-9, 0-6 Commonwealth) closed out their 2011 conference schedule with 9-0 loss to Lycoming College (7-3, 5-1 Commonwealth) Monday afternoon at the Albright Tennis Courts.
Lycoming who has secured the number two seed in this year's Commonwealth Conference playoffs, swept all three doubles matches by the scores of 8-0, 8-0, and by forfeit. In singles play,
Mike Callahan dropped a 6-2, 6-0 decision at first flight.
Jason Lefkoe fell at second flight by the final of 6-0, 6-1. The only other Lion to record points in their match was
Dan Rosello at the sixth flight. Rosello was defeated by Devin Rachael by the final of 6-1, 6-2.
Men's tennis closes out their 2011 campaign tomorrow afternoon against Penn State Berks. Start time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on the Albright Tennis Courts.
