The Albright College men's tennis team came extremely close to securing its first win of the season, Saturday vs. PSU-Berks, but fell just short in a 5-4 loss.

Freshman Ruicong Lui forced a third set in the top singles spot but ultimately lost a 6-4 decision that allowed the Nittany Lions to escape.

Albright took two of three doubles points, as Lui and Mike Callahan won in the first spot and Cain Walter/Joe Monzo ran away with an 8-2 score at third doubles.

Monzo (fifth) and Thomas Werner (sixth) also won singles matches for the Lions.

Albright (0-2) will host Moravian, Thursday at 4 PM.
