Box Score
Despite the continued solid play of goalkeeper Marguerite DeLucas (17 saves), the Albright College field hockey team was again held scoreless in a 2-0 loss, Saturday at Susquehanna.
DeLucas has now made 29 stops over the opening two games of the season, but to no avail as the Lion offense has been kept in check.
Susquehanna jumped out to an early 1-0 lead just seven minutes in on a goal from Brodie Ercole. Despite seeing a barage of shots, including seven on goal from the Crusaders' Ally Bradley, DeLucas kept Albright in the game until a Heather Moore goal late in the game.
Albright's Beth Moran and Kelsey Ruch each tested Susquehanna goalie Erin Ferguson with shots, but were denied.
The Lions (0-2) will face Misericordia (0-2) in the consolation game of this four-team tournament, tomorrow at noon.
