The Albright College field hockey team fell to 1-5 in the Commonwealth Conference on Tuesday, dropping a 3-2 decision to Widener in overtime.
Nicole Nardone scored her second rebound goal of the night, 12 minutes into overtime, to win the game for the visiting Pride.
Widener had opened the scoring less than nine minutes in. Off a penalty corner,

Brittany Creighton, but Nardone slotted the rebound home.
Senior defender
Courtney White got forward and set up the answering goal for Albright, feeding
Kaitlyn Pietrusewicz to make it 1-1.
Off a penalty corner,
Allison Dombroski played a give-and-go with
Alyssa Tourdot, but Tourdot's shot was saved by Widener's
Maggie Karmeris.
Five minutes after halftime, Tourdot was in on a breakaway but Karmeris came sliding out to make the save. Pietrusewicz followed it up however, and finished to give the Lions a 2-1 lead.
Less than five minutes later the game was tied at 2-2, as
Samantha Balonis tapped in the rebound after DeLucas had stopped
Katie Ferguson.
DeLucas made a good save off a penalty corner, three minutes before overtime. Widener nearly had a 2-on-1 with 12 seconds left in regulation, but defender
Rachael Jones got there to sweep the chance away.
A minute into the 7-on-7 overtime, Albright had a penalty corner and a Widener defender was called out of the goal. The Lions couldn't control the pass however, with just two Pride players left to defend.
Albright falls to 8-7, 1-5, and will play its final home game of the season on Homecoming Friday, 3:30 p.m. against Hood.
