Conference Opener Up Next
Albright will open Commonwealth Conference play on Wednesday with a trip to Arcadia. The early start is a feature of a revamped league that now includes 10 teams with the additions of Hood and Stevenson. Schools will play 18 conference games (as opposed to 14 in previous years) and five teams will make the playoffs.
The Lions were 2-12 in Commonwealth play last season but did defeat Arcadia twice, including a 71-64 victory on the road. Albright is 8-0 against the Knights since they joined the Commonwealth in 2008 (switching over from the Freedom side of the MAC).
