The Albright College men's and women's swimming teams will be honored at halftime of Saturday's men's basketball game vs. Widener after both squads won the Middle Atlantic Conference championship.
The men won nine individual events, set seven school records and two conference championship/pool records, and swam two NCAA “B” qualifying times in the process. Freshman
Rick Sutton earned both the Most Oustanding Swimmer and Rookie of the Year awards.
The women won two individual events, while freshman
Amanda Osterlind was named the Rookie of the Year. Head coach John Stuhltrager won both Coach of the Year awards.
The men's basketball game will tip-off at 4 p.m.
